It is now day number 3 in our snow bound adventure. The little ones are going stir crazy. They want to spend all of their time out in the snow and since both have been congested and coughing, we have limited their time outside.
I don't mind having to stay home; though I worry about our family finances next week. Our paychecks for this past week will be next to nothing since none of us in the house have worked the last three days. Fortunately, our monthly bills have basicly been paid and we are stocked up on groceries. The only worry is gas money. But it could be worse. I know that there are some families that missing these last few days of work could cause them to fall off the cliff of financial ruin.
It is days like this I wish we had purchased the kids a game system. We have held off on getting one because we want our kids to play outside and use their imaginations. But cabin fever could have used the extra distraction.
Watching and waiting to see what tomorrow brings.
